Eligibility review
Whether your services, structure and operations meet PSEB's criteria.
Not sure whether to register with PSEB as a freelancer, a firm or a company, or why your application stalled? We advise IT and IT-enabled services exporters on eligibility, structure, documents and the tax and banking benefits that come with PSEB registration.
PSEB registers IT and IT-enabled services companies, call centres and freelancers. Choosing the right route affects your tax, your banking, your compliance work and how easily you can grow, so it is worth getting advice before you apply.
PSEB-registered exporters have been eligible since 2022 for a reduced final tax rate of 0.25% on IT export proceeds under section 154A of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001, instead of the standard 1%, reported as extended to 2029. IT exporters can also keep part of their proceeds in an Exporters' Specialized Foreign Currency Account under State Bank rules. But a freelancer, a partnership and a company each register differently, need different documents and carry different ongoing obligations.
Our PSEB consultancy helps you decide which route fits, prepares you for the application and fixes problems when an application has stalled or been queried. When you are ready to apply, our PSEB registration and freelancer PSEB registration services handle the filing, and our IT export tax team covers the wider tax picture.
